Debugging and Commissioning
of Equipment
One of the most critical and most often overlooked
aspects of a project is the final commissioning and
debugging of equipment prior to use. Rauch International
works closely with equipment vendors and installers to ensure that all equipment
is operating/performing to the agreed upon expectations prior to client turn-over
and usage.
Rigging,
Access and Containment Systems Inspections
Many rigging, access and containment system failures and accidents occur during
the moving process causing damage, injury or death to project employees or
the general public.
In many cases the system has been moved successfully several times prior to
the occurrence of an accident. Some of the main causes of these accidents are
poor or improper training, exceeding the design limits of the equipment, no
marked loading zones, complacency, or the addition of new personnel unfamiliar
with the system.
Rauch International provides third party inspection
of these operations in order to help ensure the safety
of the project.
Window-Washing
Equipment Inspection, Evaluation, Operating Procedures
and Training
Many buildings have permanently installed window-washing
and building facade maintenance equipment that is not
being used. This disuse can be the result of a variety
of issues such as poor initial design, improper installation,
building and maintenance personnel not understanding its safe and proper
use, the perception that it does not adequately meet
the building's needs, of its having been "red-tagged" or,
of its needing repair and possible replacement.
Rauch International can evaluate the equipment to
determine if it is safe and adequate for its intended
use, provide estimates for the equipment's repair or
replacement, and can put together equipment specific
operating procedures and training. |
